Parents or Band Alumni - Help needed!

Help the band get ready for next year!

On Monday, May 23rd and Tuesday, May 24th, we are running our 4th grade instrument selection days. This is when we spend time with each 4th grade class to let each student pick up, explore, make sounds on, and figure out what instrument intrigues them for 5th grade Band. We need volunteers for this process. No experience required!

In early June and in during finals week, we need help sizing our 8th graders - 11th graders for next year's marching band! No experience required!

Tutorpalooza, Saturday, April 2nd - Thank you!

All Mercer Island band students, 5th-12th grade, were invited to TutorPalooza! They had an opportunity to get free instrument tutoring with professional instructors. Thank you to all of the instructors who spent the day working with our students, and a special thank you to the Mercer Island Schools Band Boosters and all of the band supporters who were able to make this happen!

Reminder - Fine Arts Showcase is Wed, Mar 23rd

The Mercer Island Fine Arts Showcase is this Tuesday and Wednesday. Tickets will not be sold at the door so be sure to buy your tickets before heading to MIHS!
