All Island Band BBQ is Thurday, 8/14!

Calling all 5th through 12th grade band families! Join us for an evening of festivities and fun at our annual All Island Band BBQ. As we get ready for the upcoming year, come meet fellow musicians and their families, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy a fun night out. While there you will be able to:

​

• Devour a burger or two with salad, fruit, and chips.

• Strike a pose at the photo booth, and cool off with a treat of Hawaiian shave ice.

• Pick out your favorite band spiritwear for the new year.

• And most importantly, spend time with other amazing band families.

When: Thursday, August 14th at 5:30 pm

Where: Mercer Island High School Amphitheater

All Island Garage Sale this Saturday!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10th and come and shop, shop, shop at the MIHS Band All Island Garage Sale. Come and check out the special, one-of-a-kind items from our very own community.

Our marching band will be marching in the 2026 London Parade (on New Year's Day)! This garage sale is a fundraiser both for the students' trips and ALSO a fundraiser for our scholarship fund that goes to trip costs for kids and families in need.

Each student will keep the money they make at their sales booths to offset their trip costs. In the past, students have raised up to $900 each! There will also be a BSA Spirit wear table and a bake sale to support scholarships.

Join us for this celebrated community tradition of over 40 years! Experience exceptional student artwork from all MISD schools both nights, plus live music on the second night.

All ticket proceeds directly support our outstanding school programs. To help us plan for capacity, please choose the night below that you're most likely to attend. Your ticket is valid for both nights. MISD students enter for free.
