Empowering Students. Representing Our Community.
Performing for the World.

Join us and invest in shaping the future of our students and help to continue building and sustaining Washington’s premier band program.
Our band program represents the heartbeat of the Mercer Island community. With decades of commitment, we continue to shine, from Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to London’s New Year’s Day Parade, and in Spring 2027, performing at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, one of the highest honors available to high school concert bands in the United States.
More than 25% of all Mercer Island students in grades 5 through 12, totaling over 600 young musicians, participate in our award-winning program. Spanning 5th Grade Band, Middle & High School Concert Bands, Marching Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensembles, and five Jazz Ensembles, we provide a place for every student to build connections, develop leadership skills, and discover a true sense of belonging.
