One of the reasons our family chose to move to Mercer Island was for our kids to participate in the band program and we haven’t been disappointed! We appreciate what an inclusive community it is for all kids - and it’s meant so much to our 8th grader to be able to try different instruments (clarinet (5th), alto sax (6th), and now tenor sax) while having fun with his friends.
